There's no such thing as AAU Softball - its ASA. Little league is not what it used to be and the good kids in this area dont even play it anymore, its a JOKE! Three hour long games and 50 walks - wow!

Thats about the most ridiculous thing! They are fans like everyone else, more vocal, but alot of fans are vocal - go to a PV football game and watch some of those parents - especially if they are loosing!

If that is the best umpire around then we are really hurting for officiating around here! And to speak of the Lights, they are very vocal fans, like most fans are. If it had been as bad as you say then the umpire would have calmed it down. All they were saying was that the pitcher (from PV) wasnt throwing very consistent and Coeburns batters were swinging at terrible pitches! They were hollering at the batters not the pitcher! They swung at stuff that was not even catchable....they were way to aggressive, they needed to make her throw strikes! They were not being ugly to the pitcher, maybe being loud, but is that illegal? Coeburn gave PV a very good game, and it could have went either way, a Coeburn's pitcher did her job very well! And remember, Coeburn is a team that has only one senior, they will be back, and much better!</div></div>

Listen, I know you are one of the Lights, probably the mother. If someone had sit there behind home plate and did the things you did today to Hannah, you would have been ready to kill someone. I have seen you get so mad at Umps during travel ball that the cops have been called. Yes, you might have been talking to the batters but you made sure the pitcher heard every word! You posted on here not to long ago that you "heard" if you watch the catcher for PV set up she might hit the mitt 1 out of 5 times. You gave yourself away today. You don't have me fooled. All I can say is PV won!! and it p***** you off! The Ump called the same way for both teams and I have always said a good Ump is one that calls the same both ways.

Then why don't you get out there and teach the kids who are in little league? Or at least support them. Little League is not a joke. It becomes a joke when people like you don't have enough interest in our youth to help them in something. Go to a game, volunteer. There are all kinds of things you could be doing to help. This would take some of the stress off the coaches so they could have more time to teach these kids the game. You call yourself a fan? A real fan would help any way they can. Instead, you sit here and call something like little league a "joke".

That is the Gods honest truth...2 feet above their head and some of Coeburn's girls swung the bat...All they had to do was stand there.

Not perfect.. but I guarantee nobody has ever seen them behave the way the Lights do. Like I said before, there is a difference in cheering for your kids, than there is in what the Lights do most of the time.

You won't ever hear of a loaded team nor a blown arm in LL though unless a coach abuses a kid's arm in between LL starts...say, in ASA or something like that.

Of course, then again, if they wanted to really circumvent things, I guess the kid could be an injury scratch in LL, but then go that same night and play in an ASA game and pitch every inning. That's real fair to the girl and to her LL teammates...

Have you ever heard of a rise ball? Yeah some of the Coeburn girls did swing at balls, but the thing is, if they are goin to swing at them (high balls), the coach is going to call them. You throw what works.
